Emily Friedman

Emily is a rising senior at St. Mary’s College of Maryland majoring in biology and biochemistry. As an Amgen Scholar at UCLA, she is investigating the effects of Down Syndrome on gene expression and regulation of neural progenitor cells in the context of neocortical development. Outside of the lab you can find her cheering on the Baltimore Orioles or collecting vinyls.
