Patrick Seong studied Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (MCDB) at the University of California, Los Angeles (graduated 2023). Previously at the DeNardo laboratory, he studied the time-dependent role of the mouse temporal association cortex in the consolidation process of auditory fear memories. Currently, as a Staff Research Associate I at the de la Torre-Ubieta laboratory, he contributes to several lab projects investigating the various cell types and genetic mechanisms involved in neocortical development, as well as intellectual and developmental disabilities. In his free time, he enjoys reading, art, and programming games.
