Shahab Younesi

Shahab has a bachelors in biotechnology and a master’s in biology, during which he wrote his thesis on stem cell differentiation. He worked in various labs studying neurodevelopment, muscle development, and pluripotent stem cell genetics in both basic and translational research settings. In the De La Torre-Ubieta lab, he is exploring differences in neurodevelopmental disorders utilizing cortical organoid differentiation and utilizing a bioinformatics approach to characterize and analyze previous and lab-generated datasets for novel cell-subtypes.
